Lintel Description

Available to suit 50mm - 200mm cavity widths

This CL/WIL Type Lintel is used to support an outer leaf of 100mm and an inner leaf of 215mm. Inner leaf constructed as shown. This lintel is designed for heavy duty loading conditions.

Steel lintels should be installed with a minimum end bearing of 150mm, bedded on mortar and levelled along its length and across its width. The lintel should be suitably propped to facilitate speed of construction (see loading table for details). All lintels should be installed with a damp proof course (DPC). See installation instructions in downloads for further information.

Standard lengths are manufactured in 150mm increments up to 3000mm and 250mm increments from 3000mm up to and including 4750mm.

The CL/WIL can be supplied to suit plaster (specify CL/K)
