- Lintel Length (mm)

Available to suit 215mm wall
Extra heavy duty loading conditions to suit solid wall construction. To achieve loading figures lintel must be built in with stone, block/brick-work as shown.
Steel lintels should be installed with a minimum end bearing of 150mm, bedded on mortar and levelled along its length and across its width. The lintel should be suitably propped to facilitate speed of construction (see loading table for details). All lintels should be installed with a damp proof course (DPC). See installation instructions in downloads for further information.
Standard lengths are manufactured in 150mm increments up to 3000mm and 250mm increments from 3000mm up to and including 4750mm.
For stone or brick finish the XL43 lintel is manufactured with a soffit plate. This is a continuous piece of galvanised steel welded to the underside of the lintel showing no welds and can be painted to suit finish. (Specify XL43 S/P).
Manufactured using a 229 x 89 x 32.76 kg/m PFC
