Lintel Description

This single leaf lintel is suited to standard loading conditions to support the outer leaf of cavity wall construction.

Cavity closer available on request and manufactured to client specification.

Steel lintels should be installed with a minimum end bearing of 150mm, bedded on mortar and levelled along its length and across its width. The lintel should be suitably propped to facilitate speed of construction (see loading table for details). All lintels should be installed with a damp proof course (DPC). See installation instructions in downloads for further information.

Standard lengths are manufactured in 150mm increments and range from 750mm – 2700mm.
