Lintel Length
Available to suit 90mm - 160mm cavity widths
This A/K Type Lintel is best suited for a rendered outer leaf, as it provides a plaster key for both the inner and outer leafs. This lintel is designed for standard loading conditions (see the loading tables for details).
Steel lintels should be installed with a minimum end bearing of 150mm, bedded on mortar and levelled along its length and across its width. The lintel should be suitably propped to facilitate speed of construction (see loading table for details). All lintels should be installed with a damp proof course (DPC). See installation instructions in downloads for further information.
Standard lengths are manufactured in 150mm increments up to 3000mm and 250mm increments from 3000mm up to and including 4000mm.
